Kids, Come on.....

Kids nowadays complained studying is Hard & Boring...... WTH lah!

You have:
1.) New nice colourful books
2.) Computer

3.) Internet
4.) Qualified Teachers
5.) Interactive, Video and ICT Lessons
6.) Nice classroom (not to mention some with air-cons)
7.) Nice TV programmes (not to mention, many channels)
8.) White Board using marker Pen
9.) DVDs to watch movies (which is Educational also because you learn languages used and learn new things)
10.) Mobile phones to ask your classmates about something you don't understand.
11.) Lots of new Teaching Aids & Learning Environment
12.) Google & Wikipedia
13.) Modern or Improved schools
14.) Living in a Modern days with new technologies.

What do I have when i was studying in Primary & secondary schools from 1988-2001.....
I have Only:
1.) Books, no colour
2.) Teachers, whom some just know how to Teach (not even Qualified)
3.) Black Board using Chalk
4. ) TV with only 3 Programmes (TV 1, TV 2, RTB)
5.) Rent Video tapes.
6.) Dictionary & Encyclopedia (Old School)
7.) Old School, i mean really.... Old school
8.) Let's see what else..... NOTHING......!
With what I had I still study all the way to University, graduated and become a "TEACHER".

HARD & BORING.......? Think again.

SO KIDS.... (Yeah you all are KIDS) DON'T COMPLAIN.... YOU HAVE BETTER EDUCATIONAL LIFE THAN THE ONE I HAD, BE GRATEFUL.

What you do in your own time is just part of your life; the other part is your family. Don't tell me it's not true or it's my life I can do whatever I want. Just take a moment to think about your past when you are a child, your present on what you are doing in your life & think about your future when something will not be the same again, just think about it.

Don't start to miss it when it's gone, appreciate all the moments you can have now. Don't say family is not important, one day you may also have your own family, so just think about it.

To all my Chinese Friends, be home for dinner before another Chinese New Year begin. There is a reason it is called a reunion dinner, but different people have different meaning to it, but the reason remains the same, "Family". If you are overseas and can't be back to spent time with your family, at least spend it with people close to you :-)

Why i am a Teacher :-)

Some people asked me, why you become a Teacher? My answers to them:

“In life we spent a short moment in school, some good memories, some bad memories, and some unforgettable memories. We all study, make friends, learn new things & experiences, well sometimes we suffer and stress, but we all get through it. After that it's a working life till…. Well only time can tell. Life after our school time is a totally different story. Some even wish they can turn back time. Well we must accept that we will age with time no matter what.

So why I become a Teacher? The answer is simple I love school so much that I don’t want to leave. Yes in life we spent a short moment in school, but I do not want a short moment, I want it to be my life. School had given me so much, knowledge, experiences, and opportunity. Being a Teacher I can have it again, and I can guide new generations with what I had achieved. Seeing your students learned and achieved in any fields under your guidance makes you very happy. For this I never want to stop learning. Being a Teacher we teach and we learn from our students. Life is a journey; this is a journey for me. What comes with the journey, well… I don’t know, it’s the believes that you must have in you, and believe you can. Will i change my journey, i do not know yet, for now I love school, I love to learn, and I love Teaching. But we must remember, being a Teacher is not just limited to school, there are other field that we can be a Teacher too. All i can say is I’m honored to be a Teacher.”

My Condolences to the People of Japan

I'm deeply sadden by the shocking news of Japan being hit by earthquake and Tsunami today. I wish the people of Japan all the best and take care in this most unfortunate situation. I hope to all my friends and their family there will be safe, and please let me know if you all are safe and fine. I'm worried and will keep updating on the situation on the news. There's nothing more that i hope for now then to know you all are safe.

Now let me have a short review about this camera
First of all i'm a Fujifilm camera user from Fujifilm FinePix S5500 (Fujiko), to Fujifilm FinePix S9600 (Fujika), and now Fujifilm S5 Pro (Fuji-Chan). I just love the image results produce by a Fujifilm camera. It is unlike other camera brand, totally different (in terms of colour). Yeah you realised i even named my own camera, because i always say their my wife :-)

One thing i like about this camera is that it has film stimulating mode with "Real Photo Technology Pro", the result are very good. It really suits my style of photography and also for scenery photography. It also comes with Face detection technology. It has the same body with Nikon D200, and the camera acessories i use for my Fujifilm S5 Pro are from Nikon including the lens, however Nikon Li-ion rechargeable battery does not work in this camera. And also it's function is nothing like Nikon D200. I can say it is not as user-friendly as an Nikon or a Canon, but once you get use to it you will be fine. Since i'm a Fujifilm User, it is easy for me to handle this camera. I just love the results (See one of the beach photo i posted above)
